When you finally collect all the Codex pages you need you will gather in the Codex room (back at the Monteriggioni Ranch) with all the others from the Creed. You will place the Golden apple (which you found earlier in the game) on this holder then walk up to the Codex board and press the B button. Now if you want you can examine each page and read the text. I actually read all of the Codex pages(which was an interesting read), but if you don’t care… don’t bother. What you will need to do is solve the puzzle… actually rotate each Codex page (with the Right Trigger) to put an image together. What image? Oh you need to go into Eagle Eye mode and you will see what I’m talking about. First thing’s first. You will see that there are actually four corners and borders that make a rectangle around the boarder… rotate the outsides to make this rectangle. Now this won’t be easy… but!… the secret is that inside the rectangular boarder there will be a map of the world. I can’t give you exact rotations but figure it out STUPID! North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Australia, Asia, Antarctica. Now! Have fun Killing the Pope…
So I’ve finished with my “Tour de Death” in Venice… Oh… I’m talking about Assassins Creed 2 (I am geek! Hear me roar). After Venice, you go back to the Villa Monteriggioni (your family’s villa outside of Florence). You materialize right by the room where your uncle is (the room with the Codices on the wall), but you won’t be able to get in the room. Apparently you need to get all the Codices to move on to the next level (unless your a total squid and you grabbed them all). So!… Here’s what ‘cha gotta do! Go to your map and go back to each city you’ve been to… I know… I know. What a huge pain in the ass. But they won’t let you by with out those stupid Codices… So just shut the f*#k up and go. Start at Florence and work your way through everywhere you’ve been so far. Just check the map when you get to each city and look for the icon. Now when you find each Codex, they will all be guarded by four guards… not to mention groups of guards marching by constantly. Walking up and and starting a brawl with these guys would surely mean Desynchronization. Why incur the headache? Read my last post! Use Hookers! That’s right employ these lovely ladies and I guarantee…life will be that much easier. As I said in my last post, walk up to the group of prostitutes, press the Y button, andthey will follow you. Walk them up to the guards and waltz right in to the guarded room, grab the Codex and walk away. Repeat untill you have all of them then go back to Monteriggioni… then bam! You can move on to the next task (which is a pain in the ass by the way). That’s all for now Assasskateers!
It’s not what you think…well it is and it isn’t. Just passing you on a good tip for Assassins Creed II (yes I’m still playing ya douche). If you didn’t happen to know, you can hire ladies of the night (Hookers!) to follow you and either blend in with them (thus making you kind of invisible) or even distract guards. Any group of ladies with the blue icon above them are for hire and they are very useful. The Italian guards are such horn dogs that if you walk up with hookers they will leave their post (or what ever their guarding). At a minimal cost you can avoid a bloody battle and sneak right by the guards. Just press the Y button when your close to the group of ladies, and your in business… give it a try sometime!
In honor of the assassin, here’s Every Time I Die!
Spoiler alert! if you don’t recognize the flying machine above or haven’t played a level called “Infrequent Flier” and you’re currently playing Assassins Creed II, read no further (unless you don’t give a sh*t) Read the rest of this entry »
