Rock Out With Your C#*K Out

All right geeks!…Here’s your chance to transform yourself from greasy, limp -dicked dweeb to ROCK GOD!!! Harmonix Music Systems is taking gamers to rock school this Christmas with the ultimate answer to its first rockin’ success…Guitar Hero. The game is called Rock Band, and the word “band” is the operative one in this title. From what I have read, this game will not only have a guitar/bass peripheral, but it will also have a drums and a microphone. How f*#cking rad is that going to be.
It seems this game is going to be heavily geared towards the Xbox Live market. Think of it!!! Log onto Xbox Live…Form a band (complete with guitar, bass, drums and vocals)…Name the band…Go on tour…Who knows, may be you will be able to battle other bands!
Wait a minute! Hold on! I”m getting too excited. It couldn’t be that rad. The couple of interviews I have read with Alex Rigopulos (Harmonix CEO ) were quite ambiguous and didn’t give too much detail. I guess he’s paranoid of Activision overhearing (read this article for details).
The latest news about this game is that the Fender guitar company has signed on to design the guitar peripheral. They are going to pattern it after the legendary Fender Stratocaster. If you don’t know this guitar you should be shot! There is also mention of the Roland / Boss company getting involved with the peripherals also, but they haven’t signed on as of now.
The game will also feature different musical styles (Blues, Country etc.) and will access the internet for for a vast ocean of possibility’s for music.
Rock Band is said to release this holiday season, and be available for Xbox 360 and PS3 (no mention of the Wii). So come Christmas time…trade in those braces and coke bottle glasses for spikes and a bottle of Jack, and may be you might get laid by the time you turn 40.
