So first the Christian Missionaries ran around the earth forcing people (otherwise happy with their current beliefs) to bow down to their religion or die! This is still going on, but now the Jesuits have their sites on conquering the virtual world.

The mega populated virtual world of Second Life is now the target for modern day Jesuit Missionaries according to an article in Rome-based Jesuit journal La Civilta Cattolica. Academic, Antonio Spadaro, urged fellow Catholics not to be scared of entering the virtual world which may be fertile ground for new converts wishing to better themselves. “It’s not possible to close our eyes to this phenomenon or rush to judge it,” Spadaro said. “Instead it needs to be understood … the best way to understand it is to enter it.” “Is there (cyber) space for God?” Spadaro aaka in his article which says there are already virtual churches and temples serving countless religions. He quotes a Swedish Muslim who says his avatar prays regularly as he prays in real life. “Deep down, the digital world can be considered, in its way, mission territory,” he said. “Second Life is somewhere where the opportunity to meet people and to grow should not be missed, therefore, any initiative that can inspire the residents in a positive way should be considered opportune.”
So does this mean that I’ll have to watch out for those f*@king Jehovah’s witnesses even in the virtual world. I remember when I was a kid those f*#king nut cases would show up in the neighborhood in groups and knock on everyones doors to spread the word of the good lord. We actually used to hide, and pretend that we weren’t home to avoid them. Then when I got older, I would open the door and enjoy ripping them a new assholes and go on a tirade on how they’re a bunch of hypocritical, racist, murdering, passive aggressive sh*t heads spreading death destruction and closed mindedness to all…Oh, and get the f*#k off my front porch before I call the cops. Then as I got older and smarter I ceased to acknowledge them all together. Why waste the energy?
By the way Spadaro warns the uninitiated that “the erotic dimension is very present” in Second Life, that people can buy genitalia for their avatars in a world that is “open to any form of erotic stimulation from prostitution to pedophilia“… (Pedophilia? where did that come from!)
Well this has sparked my interest (not the pedophilia stuff you sick f*#k)!!! Maybe I need to log on and buy a 12″ penis for my avatar so I have a weapon to defeat these hordes of Missionaries that are threatening the free virtual world.
