What does this have to do with video games? F*#king nothing!!!

This was my 5th time to Burning Man (2000,2001,2002,2006 and 2008)… the third time I had been invited to burn the man… Yes… actually burn the man. Two other times I went to the burn the man, the fireball we attempted did not go off correctly… But this time… it did!

I don’t need to get into too much detail, because I don’t want too bore your ass, but in short it was another good time (Thanks to M*A*S*H 4207, The Boobie Bar and Apokoliptika) with the exception of the condition of the playa which was soft. This prevented you from getting around on your bike very easily… and since it is one mile from one side of the city to the other… THIS SUCKED!!!!.
Then there was the two hideous white outs (sand storm) . What’s a white out? A white out is a dust storm and your worst nightmare if you don’t have either shelter or goggles and a dust mask or bandanna. If your caught on the open playa… good luck.

This is the camp I stayed with M*A*S*H 4207… Great camp mostly people from Salem Oregon

This is our local bar across the street called… well… the Boobie Bar. The nipples lit up at night so I could find my way home.

This is the “Temple of Tears”. Very somber place. This is where you can put pictures or write about people you lost this year. Then they burn it the day after the burn.

This is Babylon or what people at the burn called The Hilton Tower. Basically it was a 10 story structure built out of steel I beams… it was pretty sick. Here some photos from the top

This is…well… a giant Hummer.

This is the Galileo 2 from the original Star Trek TV series. It is actually an “Art Car” that cruizes around the playa.

This is a cool propane fire sculpture. People flocked around like bugs (lol)!

This is a wood small scale replica of a Mayan Pyramid that they burnt on Friday.

Finally, here’s “The Man” burning and falling.

There it is in an ADD nutshell. “That’s all I have to say about that” to quote Forest Gump.
