I know, I know… I wrote about this game in January, but now the trailers are running ramped. I just read an article on Gamespot.com about FaceBreaker (EA Sports Canada) and now I am stoked up again about this game. Slated for release on September 3rd 2008 this game should wrap up a kick ass summer for the gaming industry. As I have said before I am a fan of the boxing game genre and this one is looking awesome in a cartoon like way. This game has taken on a different style of boxing game, stepping away from reality you will get to fight with some colorful characters.

I am a huge fan of the Fight Night series. My bro bought me Fight Night Round 3(EA Sports) a couple of years ago and I was addicted to it for a while. The only thing that bummed me out was… no Iron Mike Tyson. I was a big fan of Mike Tyson back in the 80’s even though he ruined his career by letting his demons get the best of him, and spending some of his most important years in prison. I would have loved to see him fight Lennox Lewis back in ‘88′ or ‘89′. Well now all you Tyson fans will get a chance to kick Lennox’s ass with the upcoming Fight Night Round 4 (EA sports) slated for release in 2009. I just read an article on IGN.com that got me stoaked.. check it out:

Who the f*#k are the Happy Tree Friends? Well I just found out who they are myself (I know I’m a douche). They are a flash cartoon on the web about cute fuzzy creatures that usually get mauled in some way each episode. You know what… here’s a better explanation by the website.

Looks like Rock Band (Harmonix) is one upping Guitar Hero Once again. Harmonix has announced that it will be adding a new in-game music store this week to its hit rhythm game Rock Band via a free update, allowing players to preview and purchase new tracks.

So I know I just finished kissing Ubisoft’s ass about Assassins Creed, but I just ran across Viking: Battle for Asgard by Sega. I couldn’t find sh*t to write about so I decided to go look for new releases on gamestop.com (I’m such a whore!) and I ran across this game. I saw it was being released this month so I checked out the trailer. Hmmmm… good graphics… Vikings battling (blood and gore) … Legends and Norse mythology… Sounds like my kind of game!!!
