Does anyone remember that Public Service Announcement during the “Just say no” Nancy Regan era?… or am I just an old fart! You know the frying pan…with the egg? Alright… you suck!
I came across this article about a device that you strap to your head that detect conscious thoughts, expressions and non-conscious emotions based on electrical signals around the brain that will act like a joystick hotwired from your brain to your PC! Sound freekin’ sick huh? Check it out:

All right ya horney little video geeks. If you thought the Wii and the Eyetoy(for PS2) were physically interactive, check this s#*t out. Jennifer Chowdhury (a student of NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program) has created “Intimate Control” for her Masters Thesis. She has integrated game controllers into a womens bra and mens boxers for a sexy new game for couples. It looks like you stand with your chick in front of you, (or your priest behind you..he he he) and you touch the sensors (that have different shapes or symbols) on her bra, while she touches the ones on your boxers as the symbols scroll down the screen in different sequences (check out the youtube link below). I don’t know how ya win…I guess your both winners in the end, cause you’ll eventually get so horny that you’ll rip the controllers off and jump each others bones. Kind of a crazy fusion between Dance Dance Revolution and sex therapy. I haven’t read anything about plans to mass market this devise, but I’m sure there is a niche market for it. I know this is just a school project, but look out gaming world!…this could mean a whole new future in “TOUCH” pad technology. Oh and for you geeks out there… you can’t use your blow up doll for this one. Your just going to have to find a real girl that will touch you back.

A company named Core Gamer is targeting the hard core shooter fan on June 26th. Here comes the Wii Blaster. This piece of hardware is a housing for the Wiimote that looks like a shotgun, and will be used on Wii first person shooter games. This product was preceded by a gun called the E3 or Zapper Style (which never released). From what I have read, it seems like the Wii Blaster is more like a toy. It has mechanics (rather than electronics) that push the fire button when you pull the trigger. It looks like this Blaster may be the first to blast into stores this summer. You can already pre-order this gun for only $19.99, and they won’t even check your criminal record for felony’s…So go for it GANGSTA!!!

Check it out! Sony announced last week that they are coming out with the Play Station Eye for PS3.. This is an upgrade from their Eye Toy(for the PS2). The Eye Toy (for those who don’t know) is basically a web camera that you plug into the PS2. I know… sounds boring huh. It it’s actually pretty awesome. The camera points @ you and works with games made specifically for this hardware. It basically puts you in the game. Your actions control the game… almost like the Wii, but with no controllers! I worked on a commercial for the Eye Toy last year, and saw it first hand…It Rocks! This is the future of gaming! I just hope they develop some cool games for it because the technology opens the door wide for imagination. Check out the Eye Toy video below. Anyways, back to the Play Station Eye. This will be the more polished version of the Eye Toy. The optics will be pro (not like a kids toy), and there is now a noise canceling mic attached (which opens the door for voice command on games). This product will not only be for gaming, but for video IM, shooting pictures or shooting video…the sky’s the limit. No firm release date has been given, so keep an EYE out! Seeeee Yaaaa!!!
