Dead Space for Digital Download?

I have written about the idea of digital download of games before. I mentioned that GameStop’s days are numbered unless they figure out a way to deliver these games over the internet before someone else figures it out. Anyways I just read an article on gamespy about the game Dead Space (EA) being available for digital download (for PC only). I’ve checked out this game on gametrailers.com and it looked pretty cool, but I have Gears of War 2 (Epic Games) and Prince of Persia (Ubisoft) coming up for release… and I’m not made of money. So maybe someday I’ll get it used. Here’s what gamespy had to say

Viking Will Chop your F*#king Head Off!!

I just got Viking: Battle for Asgard (Sega / The Creative Assembly)! Asgard? Sounds like something you wear in prison to keep from getting ass raped. Well anyways, The game rocks! It reminds me a lot of the Lord of the Rings games.
Basically your this Viking named Skarin, who gets mortally wounded in a battle with demons from the under world, who are trying to take over Midgard (middle earth… you D&D geeks know what I’m talking about). You are about to die when a goddess named Freya (you may know her from the story of Beowulf) approaches you and brings you back to life, bestowing you with magic powers to lead the human army against the demon hordes from the underworld.

Viking…Battle for Asgard Looks Awesome!

So I know I just finished kissing Ubisoft’s ass about Assassins Creed, but I just ran across Viking: Battle for Asgard by Sega. I couldn’t find sh*t to write about so I decided to go look for new releases on gamestop.com (I’m such a whore!) and I ran across this game. I saw it was being released this month so I checked out the trailer. Hmmmm… good graphics… Vikings battling (blood and gore) … Legends and Norse mythology… Sounds like my kind of game!!!
