Sorry guys… I’ve been bustin my ass working, so I didn’t have time to write. Contrary to popular belief, I don’t live in my parents basement (f*#k you very much).
So I finished Gears of War 2(Epic Games) a couple of weeks ago, and I’ll just give you my quick overview.

Great game!
Great story
Awesome new weapons
New creatures
New vehicles
New characters

Over all… I loved this game, BUT… once again like Star Wars the Force Unleashed (Lucas Arts) it was short… no as short, but short. Probably about 30 hours (give or take) of game play. Maybe I just loved it so much I played through quickly. I recommend if you have the cash… buy it used. If you don’t have the cash, rent it and enjoy. I really didn’t give the Xbox live mode a try, because I knew that some douche bag prepubescent 12 year old would blow my head off every 2 seconds (you know who you are).

Phew! Now I can start Prince of Persia (Ubisoft) and I’ll get back to you tomorrow.

I have written about the idea of digital download of games before. I mentioned that GameStop’s days are numbered unless they figure out a way to deliver these games over the internet before someone else figures it out. Anyways I just read an article on gamespy about the game Dead Space (EA) being available for digital download (for PC only). I’ve checked out this game on gametrailers.com and it looked pretty cool, but I have Gears of War 2 (Epic Games) and Prince of Persia (Ubisoft) coming up for release… and I’m not made of money. So maybe someday I’ll get it used. Here’s what gamespy had to say

I have at least 10 games I downloaded from Xbox Live, and I played them for a while… then the novelty kind of wore off. I was kicking ass on Robotron (Williams Electronics), for a while. But as always with the older arcade games… it just gets too f*#king hard after a certain level… So ya give up. Well it looks like Xbox live is now taking titles off their Xbox Live Arcade… well… for the simple reason that some games suck and aren’t getting downloaded. So f*#k it… pull’em. Xbox Live is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day in their own kick ass way by releasing some traditional Irish music for Guitar Hero III (GH III). Well.. not really traditional! On March 15th (St Patty’s day) Activision will be releasing three songs from the Irish / American / Punk sensations The Dropkick Murphys. If your not familiar with this band look them up on the web… They kick ass! When I hear their music I want to drink a lot and start a fight with the asshole next to me that gave me that dirty look! Well he didn’t really… I was just drunk and looking to be a dick… but that’s besides the point. Instead of watin’ in line for hours, getting drunk and starting fights at your local Irish pub (and risking jail time or a visit to the emergency room), log on to Xbox Live and download the free Dropkick pack… which consists of three songs:
* “Famous for Nothing”
* “Flannigan’s Ball”
* ” Johnny, I Hardly Knew Ya”

Get drunk at home and bang the sh*t out of your GH III guitar instead… You Crazy Rock Star Leprechaun! Top ‘O’ the Morning to ya! He he he heeeee!
