The first video game I remember is Pong. If memory serves correct, it was a freestanding (followed by a table top version) quarter-eating machine. They were usually at bowling alleys, racquet clubs, restaurants, bars and amusement park arcades…they spread like a virus. Then came the Atari and Telstar home Pong system…the beginning of it all.

In no time came Space Invaders, Night Driver, Asteroids, Pac Man, Donkey Kong and many more. Arcades sprung up like crack houses, all over the world. We were all hooked from the beginning of the craze.

I ended up in music school (cause I’m good like that), and moved out to LA to pursue a career in Rockin’. I played in a crap load of bands, playing all over the US, and head banging my way through Europe (with may current band Psoma). I also have had a career in the film business for the last 17 years (Holly S*#t I’m F*#$ing old). I worked on films like “Batman Forever,” “Independence Day,” “Volcano”& “Godzilla.” In the last several years I have been working special effects (Aka: Blowin’ crap up!). I’ve done effects on movies like “Cast Away,” “Panic Room,” “IRobot” & “Team America.” I have even burnt the man at the Burning Man festival.

I love the rush of performing live, working on a film set and huge explosions. That is why I’m a gamer and a fan. There is nothing like the rush of losing yourself in a kick ass video game. It takes you away to a land where you can be a regular dude, and see what it’s like to beat the Patriots in the Super Bowl or to kick Joe Frazier’s ass at Madison Square Garden or to Fight your way out of a mall full of cannibalistic zombies. I am a video gaming addict… and I have been “In it From The Beginning.”
